We are a coven of ARTISTS, REBELS, and STORYTELLERS, gathered in community and revolution.

As aligned with all matters and iterations of womanhood, our natural state is not rivalry. It’s collaboration, creation, and change. We reject the idea that art must serve ego, hierarchy, or the male gaze. This isn't 2016, babe! And we refuse to go back.

We are unapologetically loud, earnest, and “too much.” We don’t fear cringe. We celebrate it. We’re here to be the people we needed when we were younger. We know what it’s like to want to live so badly it aches. So we tell stories that hold that longing, that joy, that ridiculous, defiant hope.

In HAG, we make theater rooted in truth, anger, hope, and magic. Theater is our spellwork. Art is our rebellion. It's one of the fastest, sharpest tools we have to challenge power and shift culture. And it needs a shift now more than ever.

It feels important to socially locate ourselves: we are four white, cis-passing femme people, who are determined to utilize our privilege to bust open doors and push everyone through.

Look.

The world is on fire. So let’s LAUGH. Let’s CRY.

Let’s make something honest and weird and beautiful.

Let’s radically heal. Or at least go down swinging.
